Compare the full path to an accepted Meta ad, including product accuracy, editing and placement preview. Record actual versions and access rather than assuming a universal winner for short ads.
Use a purchase-relevant scene
Give both workflows shared references and inspect product identity throughout movement. Include audio, subtitles and transitions in the effort. Confirm current requirements with the person running advertising and preview the final export.
Separate production from performance
Performance Retainer supplies 9:16 finished videos up to 30 seconds; this is not a native model clip limit or every-format promise. Log accepted clips, failures, costs and editing. Test advertising outcomes separately against a relevant reference. See video method selection.

Inspect the moments when the scene becomes difficult
Pause where a hand touches the product or the camera changes angle. Check shape, color, packaging and number of parts against the reference. A correct opening still does not prove the rest of the clip preserves the item. Include separate audio work in the effort if the scene requires it.
Give both workflows the same product facts and explain any different input requirements. Review the finished sequence with copy and end frame in the placement preview. Preserve rejection reasons and editing time so the production decision can be explained. A subsequent ad test needs its own reference and metric rather than treating model quality as a sales forecast.
