Talking-head ads

AI yapper ads: talking to camera, on scripts you approve.

AI Vidia makes AI yapper ads, also called talking-head ads, for DTC and consumer brands on paid social: one presenter talks straight into a phone camera, as if to a friend. Presenters are AI-generated, not customers.

Questions buyers ask

Yapper ads, answered.

  • 01

    What is a yapper ad?

A yapper, or talking-head ad, is a short video where one person talks straight into a phone camera, as if to a friend. In an AI yapper, the presenter is AI-generated, not a customer.

  • 02

Can an AI presenter say they used our product?

Not as a real customer. Our AI presenters are AI-generated, not customers; you approve every script, and product claims come only from your signed fact sheet. The US FTC's 2024 rule prohibits reviews or testimonials that misrepresent that the author exists or used the product.

  • 03

Are AI yapper ads allowed on TikTok and Meta?

They can be, with disclosure, and each ad faces platform review. TikTok wants its AI label or a clear disclaimer on fully AI-generated video and rejects or restricts undisclosed AI content (April 2026). Meta's 1 June 2026 update says it will begin detecting ads made with third-party AI tools. We agree the label per platform and market before delivery.

  • 04

How long should a yapper ad be?

One practitioner talk (Roly Poly Digital at Motion, July 2026) reports winners from about 90 seconds to 4 minutes. Ours run up to 30 seconds on the Performance Retainer and up to 60 on the Brand System, so a story that needs minutes suits a real creator.

Yapper ad, UGC ad or AI avatar: what is the difference?

UGC-style ads are the wider category; a yapper is its talking-to-camera part, one person and one line of thought. An AI avatar is one locked presenter you reuse across all your ads.
